Not much happen today! We painted another room thanks to an volunteer. I'm trying to teach all the new dogs sit and lay. Mr. Puggleworth has it, but Rocky well, I think he thought I said dance! oh well, he will get it soon or we will have a ball trying!

Sunday was my day off; I wish Monday would have been a day off too. It was one of those days when everything went wrong! The dog didn't get to go home. Oh well, I can't be right all of the time! The cat however did get a very good home....Yea! We lost a volunteer for a week. It may be a good thing because we all need a break once in a while. Two people called on Chip. Hopefully the pet of the week was a wise idea. Like I always say, every now and then, I come up with some good ideas.

Today we got an application on a dog and cat that I felt good about! Hopefully, I will be correct after we call the vet on Monday.........We are looking for a washer and electric dryer. Ours finally quit running after a year of hard work!....... I want to say thank you to everyone that ate at Bullritos today. It really does help our fuzzy friends!

I got the giggles today, Tink kept hiding under her blanket and jumping out when I walked by. She is growing up so fast! Jingle was a clown today also, during his training lesson he showed his displeasure by barking at me. It was so hard not to just sit down and laugh!.........Pookey helped me get all the other dogs out today. I love her so much; she has come a long way but has a long way to go.

Not much went on today. We welcomed Mr. Puggleworth to our family. He is a cute little Pug mix who is so thankful to have his toys and people to love him....We decided not to make a fuss about Valentino. I don't want people adopting him just because he has a "special appearance". God brought this little miracle to us and we will make sure he has a great life!.......After our investigation, we learned my instincts were correct! We could not let this baby go just yet. |

Everyone is making a fuss about a little Valentino. People are calling him a miracle. I guess he is; however, to me all pets are miracles from God!.......We also have an application on one of the dogs. I should be thrilled. However my instinct is telling me not to let the dog leave, so we will just have to do an investigation into the matter. I just pray I do what is best for the dog. |

Today, I had the pleasure of bringing a Poodle mix and her two, three day old puppies to A New Dawn. One of the puppies has a perfect heart shape on his head. Can you guess what I named him, Valentino! I'm scared to take on the challenge of helping raising these boys; maybe the heart is a sign from God of good things to happen!.....We also received a boy Poodle mix, named Rocky. What a cutie he is and so sweet! He is going to be a fun boy to work with.......I also heard that Artie, is doing great! He even sleeps in bed with his dad and Boger (Joey).

Today, we cleaned and painted to get ready for the " new batch" of babies! Our other babies helped by playing and running around making us laugh! We heard from Bentley and he is doing great, almost potty trained and can go out the doggie door however coming in is a problem! One of these days he will get it.

I never knew what to put in this section until today. This where I'm going to document the highs and lows of operating and owning A New Dawn. Today was a great day even if I was sick. We heard that Cotton and Liza are doing great. The next thing that happened is that Bentley went to his new home; I wish him all the best! Artie also said good bye to us to today to live with Joey, one of our A New Dawn alumni!
